Employment Officer Role in Alberta Ltd

We are seeking an Employment Officer to join our team at Alberta Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting job notices, and advising job applicants on employment requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Staffing Requirements: Identify current and prospective staffing needs, and develop strategies to meet these needs.
- Job Posting: Prepare and post job notices, including advertisements and other recruitment materials.
- Applicant Support: Advise job applicants on employment requirements, terms, and conditions of employment.
- Candidate Evaluation: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants, and coordinate selection and examination boards.
- Notification and Offers: Notify applicants of results, prepare job offers, and advise managers and employees on staffing policies.
This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and a focus on attention to detail. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain accuracy in your work.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, benefits package, and permanent employment opportunity. The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 based on industry standards.
