Chief Operating Officer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Global Business Leader to join our team at People First Solutions as a Chief Operating Officer.

About the Role

In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for driving business growth and ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of our organization. With a keen eye for fashion and a deep understanding of global trends, you will oversee sales, finance, operations, production, merchandising, and purchasing functions. Your expertise in inventory management, forecasting, and supply chain optimization will enable us to maintain on-time delivery and meet seasonal demand.

As a natural relationship builder, you will leverage your exceptional communication skills to build strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve sales and revenue targets
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels, forecasting, and supply chain processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the textile or fashion industry, with 7+ years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in operations, finance, sales, production, inventory management, and human resources
  • Proven track record of growing sales through a network of sales agents and representatives in Canada and the United States
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to travel and attend trade shows as required
What We Offer

As a Senior Operations Executive, you can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
