Valco Melton, a leading provider in adhesive dispensing and quality assurance solutions, is currently in search of a Regional Sales Manager to enhance our Outside Sales operations across Canada.

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, this role is pivotal in fostering new business opportunities, managing current client relationships, and delivering technical assistance for the comprehensive Valco Melton product range within the assigned territory. The position is home-based, specifically targeting the Montreal area, and encompasses Quebec along with the neighboring provinces to the east, including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to engage with an innovative and diverse array of products. It is particularly suited for individuals with a technical mindset who excel in business development and are eager to contribute to the growth of a premier brand in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships across various sectors within the designated territory.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers to encourage upgrades and new product solutions.
  • Communicate effectively, presenting and demonstrating the company's product offerings.
  • Travel within the territory, including overnight stays of 2-3 nights per week as necessary.
  • Provide proficient technical and installation support as required.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Service, and Technical Support teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated technical sales expertise or relevant background.
  • Educational background in technical fields (electrical/mechanical) and/or 3-5 years of industry experience.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in sales to manufacturing-focused organizations.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Preferred experience in selling to the Food & Beverage, Corrugated, or Folding Carton sectors.
