About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Evaluate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
    • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and supplies
    • Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including scheduling and staffing
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Staff Management
    • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Inventory and Supplies
    • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure they are adequate and well-stocked
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and excess
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
    • Monitor and control health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Participate in marketing and promotional activities to increase sales and customer awareness
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to multitask and work independently
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
