About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Chuan Xiang Hui Food Ltd. as a Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the highest quality standards.

Supervision and Leadership

Lead and manage a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Inventory Management

Oversee the requisitioning of food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.

Quality Control

Ensure that all dishes meet our quality standards and are prepared to the highest level of presentation.

Staff Training and Development

Train and mentor staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain our high standards.

Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in the kitchen.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a non-smoking environment and will be exposed to a noisy kitchen environment.
