About Koto Izakaya

We are a dynamic and innovative Japanese restaurant seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Chef Supervision

Supervise and mentor our team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that our high standards are met.

Food Quality and Safety

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management

Manage our kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our menu demands.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure that our guests receive a seamless and exceptional dining experience.

Requirements
  • Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and completion of a culinary arts program or equivalent.

Language

Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with our team and guests.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
