About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Chuan Xiang Hui Food Ltd. as a Head Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our culinary team and overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
    • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies
  • Culinary Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff
    • Train and develop staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Implement and maintain food safety and quality control procedures
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their dietary needs are met
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 3-4 years of experience in a senior kitchen management role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to stand for extended periods. The role will also require the ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
