About Koto Izakaya

We are a dynamic and innovative Japanese restaurant seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Chef Supervision

Supervise and train our team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards of quality and service.

Inventory Management

Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.

Food Safety and Quality

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate our kitchen team to achieve our goals and objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

3-5 years of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.

Certifications and Licenses

Food safety certification and any other relevant licenses or certifications.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
