We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Sushi Mong. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and recruit and hire staff as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English language proficiency.
