About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Cook to join our team at Sushi Mong. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Menu Planning: Assist in planning menus and ensuring that food meets quality standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
Work Environment

As an Assistant Cook at Sushi Mong, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
