We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Aaxel Insurance Brokers Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Job DescriptionThe Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:
- Coordinating seminars, conferences, and meetings;
- Taking minutes of meetings and preparing reports;
- Establishing and maintaining office procedures and routines;
- Scheduling appointments and confirming bookings;
- Answering telephone calls and relaying messages;
- Compiling data, statistics, and other information;
- Maintaining inventory and ordering office supplies;
- Greeting clients and directing them to relevant contacts or service areas;
- Setting up and maintaining manual and computerized filing systems;
- Preparing and typing correspondence, forms, and other documents;
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills and Qualifications• Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, electronic scheduling software, database software, and accounting software;
• Knowledge of business terminology;
• Experience in correspondence, reports, contracts, financial statements, invoices, and client relations;
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Accurate and reliable with a focus on meeting deadlines;
• Client-focused with a strong commitment to quality service;
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
