We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Waterford Executive.
Job Summary: The Industrial Mechanic Millwright will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, inspecting, and repairing all mechanical equipment in support of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service, inspect, check, monitor, calibrate, test, upgrade, relocate, re-condition, lubricate, fabricate, fit-weld, replace, modify, re-build, install, and repair all mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and restore to operational capability all mechanical breakdowns.
- Satisfactorily complete all maintenance work orders, assignments, schedules, plans, and priority work lists.
- Recommend the purchase of mechanical equipment/parts, tools, and the modification of mechanical equipment and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain all required mechanical reports and related documentation.
- Perform all required tasks in a manner consistent with the needs of our internal customers and our commitment to the success of our fellow maintenance team members.
- Actively participate in all mechanical-related programs, including ISO 9000 and World-Class maintenance.
- Continuously improve self-productivity, skill, morale, team spirit, and commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction through training, self-awareness, and personal involvement.
- Provide back-up and call-in services as required to meet our operational needs.
Requirements:
- Industrial Mechanic Millwright recognized by the Ontario College of Trades.
- Industrial Maintenance Technician, G1 or G2 Certificate – Training provided.
- Experience in continuous process, chemical, manufacturing plant is an asset.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as fans, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, steam turbines, bucket elevators, belt and screw conveyors, dust collectors, steam traps, and piping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work assignments and to complete the work safely.
- Self-motivated and always working towards Reliability Excellence.
