**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled 421A Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Transparent Search Group in Hamilton, ON.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. You will also perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed
  • Communicate with clients and team members to ensure timely and effective completion of projects
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions on time
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

**Requirements:**

  • Valid 421A Heavy Duty Mechanic license
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with heavy equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
