About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Contract Administrator to join our team at WSP Canada in Hamilton / Kitchener / London areas. This key role will be responsible for overseeing Contract Administration and Project Management tasks related to construction associated with earthworks, sewers, watermains, and roads for subdivision and site plan projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Contract Administration aspects of projects through the construction of subdivisions and site plans.
  • Review Contract Documents, evaluate contractor performance, and verify project deliverables and quality standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project status, site issues, and quality assurance.
  • Support regional business development initiatives and assist with RFP and RFQ responses.
Requirements
  • Engineering Diploma or Technology/Technical Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 10+ years in Contract Administration and Site Inspection, with experience on small and large civil projects.
  • Registered with PEO, or OACETT certification as an Engineering Technologist, is an asset.

  • Strong business development and negotiation skills.
  • Experience supervising other staff members and leading by example.
  • Valid drivers license required, with use of personal vehicle for business purposes.
Salary and Benefits
