Wellness Initiative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Wellness Initiative Senior Coordinator. In this role, you will provide senior coordination support to the development and implementation of various Primary Care and Health and Wellness events, engagements, and workshops for the First Nations Health Authority.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate initiatives, resources, and tools aligned with the BC First Nations Perspective on Primary Care and Health and Wellness.
- Develop and implement leadership challenges, days of wellness events, and sharing health and wellness stories and innovations region-wide.
- Collaborate with First Nations, key departments of FNHA, and FNHA health system partners to achieve project goals.
- Provide coordination support for the development and implementation of health and wellness programs and services.
- Diploma with demonstrated coursework in First Nations studies, plus 1 to 2 years of significant, recent, and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the regional health authority systems/services, and in particular working with First Nations individuals, communities, or organizations on issues related to health and wellness.
- Recent, relevant experience at a coordinator level in coordination, work planning, budgeting, and implementation of activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SharePoint and OneNote proficiency are assets.
