Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Highbury Subs. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that they are followed
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
    • Experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Standing for extended periods
