About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at HNM Food Services Inc O/A Red swan Pizza Restaurant. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food service operations are running efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Manage Food Service Operations

Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

Lead and Manage the Team

Hire food service staff, prepare budget and cost estimates, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Reporting and Administration

Prepare and submit reports, and supervise and check assembly of trays.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Work Setting

Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Work under pressure, work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 25 kg.

Work Language

English.

Hours of Work

30 to 40 hours per week.
