Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.
Ensure Quality and SafetyEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Manage Budget and ReportsPrepare budget and cost estimates, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Address Customer ComplaintsAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve any issues.
Maintain RecordsMaintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
Work EnvironmentThe Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
LanguageEnglish.
Work Schedule32 to 40 hours per week.
