Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at PressReader. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide technical support to our internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless operations and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to internal teams and external partners
  • Manage IT-related requests through effective ticket management
  • Install, configure, and repair enterprise client workstations, hardware, and software
  • Identify opportunities for task automation and scripting
  • Support maintenance of automated file retrieval systems
  • Contribute to server and network monitoring
  • Assess, replace, and troubleshoot hardware issues
  • Develop corporate documentation and IT training materials

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in IT technical support
  • Proficiency in Windows environments and IT security
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware integration and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with patch management, backup/restoration procedures, and IT ticketing systems
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear language
