Job DescriptionThis position will function as a highly skilled Service Desk Analyst, providing technical support to customers and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and have a strong ability to handle challenging situations with a calm and methodical approach.
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support to customers and staff via phone, email, and in-person
- Maintaining accurate records of tickets and incidents
- Contributes to self-help knowledge bases and documents typical requests and incidents, resolutions and work-around procedures
- Mentors, supports, and cross-trains other service desk and desk-side analysts
- Grows deeper knowledge of current corporate products, increasing ability to resolve tickets on first contact
The successful candidate will bring:
- An excellent telephone manner and ability to handle challenging support situations
- Understanding of Active Directory: creating accounts, group policy and group management
- Ability to create new and manage email accounts in Office 365
- Understanding of basic Networking principals, including network troubleshooting for connectivity issues, DHCP, DNS, use of tools like PING, NSLOOKUP and NETSTAT
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 2 years' relevant experience in a Service Desk / Help Desk / Desk-Side Environment. Desirable qualifications include previous experience working with CDK Global or in the Automotive Retail Industry, as well as experience working with Active Directory, Office 365, Windows, and networks.
Benefits and PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, dental (80% - 100%), and health spending accounts. Additionally, our flexible hours allow you to work 8 hours within core business hours (7 am - 6 pm MDT), with part-time after-hours on-call rotation. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
Salary and LocationWe estimate the salary for this role to be around $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We are committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects your skills and experience.
