Job Summary:

The Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and consultative services to support students with communication delays or disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and consultative services to support students with communication delays or disorders
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans for students
  • Provide clinical supervision to support personnel who provide direct intervention to students
  • Develop and present in-services for teaching and support staff

Qualifications:

  • Current Registration with CASLPO
  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Experience using a collaborative consultation service delivery model
  • Experience in Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Experience in using Social Thinking concepts and programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and own reliable transportation
