Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary
The Regional Rehabilitation Centre's B3 South, Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit is an 18-bed inpatient unit for patients post brain injury admitted for rehabilitation and community re-integration. As a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide evaluation, intervention, consultation, education, and prevention to an adult population presenting with communication and swallowing disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and treatment of adults with neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders
- Supervise and teach Rehabilitation Therapists
- Deliver a combination of consultative and direct treatment
Requirements
- Registered with CASLPO or eligible for registration
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current knowledge base and experience in the assessment and treatment of adults with neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders
