Shop Coordinator/Tester
Unified Valve Group Ltd. is seeking a Shop Coordinator/Tester to coordinate shop floor activities, including pricing and lead time. This role is responsible for ensuring workflow is coordinated and prioritized according to customer deadlines and requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain shop floor activities with the Shop Foreman.
- Work directly with clients to ensure their service is being handled and explain available options.
- Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Schedule appointments for clients and track service records.
- Source parts, price, and provide lead-time to customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Identify non-conformance to UVG products, services, documents, and processes.
- Follow procurement procedures, including accurate completion of purchase orders and timely receiving goods in ERP.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- PRV/PSV experience.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Technical certificate an asset.
- Unified Technical Valve Training (training can be provided).
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office skills required, experience with Great Plains and ValveTek an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to read and write clearly.
- Adherence to Unified Valve Group's Safety Policies and Procedure.
