Shop Coordinator/Tester

Unified Valve Group Ltd. is seeking a skilled Shop Coordinator/Tester to join our Edmonton Service branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating shop floor activities, including pricing and lead time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain shop floor activities with the Shop Foreman to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer deadlines.
  • Work closely with clients to provide exceptional service, explain available options, and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and follow up on requests in a timely manner.
  • Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and track client service records.
  • Source parts, determine pricing, and provide lead times to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Identify non-conformities to UVG products, services, documents, and processes.
  • Adhere to procurement procedures, including accurate purchase orders and timely receiving of goods.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in PRV/PSV.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Unified Valve Group's products and services.
  • Technical certificate an asset, with opportunities for training and development.
  • Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency, with experience in Great Plains and ValveTek an advantage.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Clear communication and reading/writing skills.
  • Adherence to Unified Valve Group's Safety Policies and Procedures.
