About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Coordinator to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. As an Education Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the academic success of our students and contributing to the overall growth and development of our learning centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of academic programs and services that meet the needs of our students and families.
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure a seamless and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with the coordination of student assessments, programming, and progress monitoring.
  • Provide administrative support to the center director and other staff members as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and businesses to promote our services and build partnerships.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and materials.
  • Provide coaching and support to teachers to help them improve their teaching practices and student outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or working towards it.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Knowledge of educational best practices and research-based interventions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
