Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Math Educator to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. as a Mathematics Instructor and Tutoring Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and tutor students in mathematics, focusing on grades 9-12 curriculum, including advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing our proprietary methodologies and philosophies.
  • Work directly with students, providing individualized attention and guidance to help them achieve academic success.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field, such as mathematics, education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or experience in a teaching or tutoring role is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of the current grades 9-12 math curriculum, particularly senior math.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
