Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Enterprise Level Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. As a key member of our organization, you will prospect and cultivate new relationships, gaining an understanding of our clients' needs while securing sales opportunities.

Responsibilities
  1. Sell core business integrated solutions for service and installation projects, including building strategic accounts and cross-selling.
  2. Evaluate and target potential customer opportunities within the marketplace.
  3. Develop and implement sales marketing strategies to penetrate multiple vertical markets (e.g., education, healthcare, industrial, and commercial buildings).
  4. Focus on building relationships with consultants, key owners, building managers, contractors, and Convergint's vendor partners to develop new business.
  5. Actively participate in the promotion of Convergint through networking events, trade shows, professional associations.
  6. Translate customer needs into detailed customized proposals, solutions, or services, and project plans.
  7. Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to prepare detailed cost estimates for suggested solutions.
  8. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with clients on payment terms that maximize Convergint's cash flow.
  9. Review scope of work, terms, and conditions in customer contracts, including cost control, delivery fulfillment, and quality of service.
  10. Communicate clear project requirements to the execution team and the wider organization as required.
Requirements
  • Advanced sales skills and ability to uncover effective customer solutions.
  • Solid teamwork skills.
  • Shows initiative - engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities.
  • Adaptable - responds effectively to changes in situation or information.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic selling or large account management.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of IT networking principles.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of previous enterprise account development, sales, or related experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the electronic security industry.
  • Product-specific knowledge preferred: Lenel, Genetec, CCure, AMAG.
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering or Business or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 (DOE) + Commission, plus comprehensive benefits, including company holidays, paid time off, immediate benefit plan, employer contribution to RRSP, colleague assistance program, tuition reimbursement, vehicle reimbursement plan, and corporate social responsibility day.
