Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer to contribute to TÉLIO's continued growth and success. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and drive strategic business development initiatives.

About the Role

  • The successful candidate will work closely with our President to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business, leveraging their expertise to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • With a keen eye for fashion and a deep understanding of global trends, the COO will be responsible for overseeing sales, finance, operations, production, merchandising, and purchasing.
  • This role requires a strong track record within the textile fashion industry, with experience working with both basic and novelty fabrics.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to lead cross-functional teams, the COO will empower employees to take ownership of their responsibilities and drive results-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis is essential, as well as experience with Momentis Apparel Management Fashion ERP Software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding TÉLIO's client base and revenue streams.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.
    • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
    • Empower employees to take ownership of their responsibilities, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), making data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
  • Supply Chain Management:
    • Oversee the procurement and logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Marketing and Branding:
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote TÉLIO's products and services.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and messaging across all channels.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the textile or fashion industry.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis, as well as experience with Momentis Apparel Management Fashion ERP Software.
  • Superior Excel skills, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and pivot tables.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Compensation Package

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including a salary of $150,000 per year, plus benefits and bonus potential.
