We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Practical Nurse to join our team as an Advanced Practical Nurse Specialist. This role will provide opportunities for professional growth and development, while contributing to the delivery of holistic, patient-centered care.

Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description: As an Advanced Practical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care to patients within the scope of your practice. Your duties will include:

  • Managing a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Addressing and resolving issues in a productive manner
  • Exercising sound professional judgment and contributing to a safe, inclusive environment for all

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Practical Nurse Diploma from an approved nursing program
  • Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Experience working with electronic medical records
  • Familiarity with the Regulated Health Professions Act
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
