About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team at MindJeweller Immigration Services Inc. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal department with administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our immigration services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our legal team, including coordinating the flow of information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
  • Financial Management: Prepare financial statements and reports, perform basic bookkeeping tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Technology and Software: Proficient in MS Office, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
