Job Title: Special Needs Educational Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Educational Assistant to join our team at Summit Micro School.

Job Summary:

The Special Needs Educational Assistant will provide individualized support to students with special needs, helping them to succeed academically and socially. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, helping them with assignments and reinforcing learning concepts.
  • Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting, promoting social inclusion and emotional well-being.
  • Assess social developments and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Work with students who have a range of special needs, including autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
