Job Title: Special Needs Educational Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Educational Assistant to join our team at Summit Micro School. As a Special Needs Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with special needs in a classroom setting, providing individualized support and accommodations as needed.
  • Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with communication and integration of students with special needs into the classroom and school setting.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assess social developments and provide feedback to teachers and other support staff.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
