About the Role

Pacific Canbriam Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Lead to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative sustainability strategies that drive business growth and minimize our environmental footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain our sustainability reporting framework, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead the development of our sustainability strategy, including stakeholder engagement, materiality assessments, and goal-setting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into our business operations and supply chain.
  • Manage and maintain our Equitable Origin certification, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to our Sustainability Leadership Committee on emerging trends and key topics.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop and implement sustainability goals and key performance indicators.
  • Represent Pacific Canbriam Energy at industry conferences and events, promoting our sustainability leadership and expertise.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing sustainability initiatives, with a focus on carbon emissions reduction and ESG initiatives.
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability in both professional practice and personal ethos.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve sustainability goals.
