About the Role

Arup is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of creating a better world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage decarbonization and energy efficiency projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement low-carbon strategies and sustainable development frameworks for new and existing buildings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects and services to clients.
  • Provide training and skills development to team members on sustainability and energy efficiency topics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, policies, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in energy efficiency, low-carbon, and sustainability consulting or research.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, low-carbon strategies, and sustainable development frameworks.
  • Professional certifications, such as LEED AP or WELL AP, are an asset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
