About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, controlling labor costs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every customer has a positive experience, responding to complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that the restaurant is always stocked and ready to serve.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial tasks, including managing cash handling, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for staff, including on-the-job training and coaching to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certification and First Aid Certification required.
