We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Kelly Services (Canada), Ltd. in Markham, ON. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll using the ADP Celergo system, handling payroll and benefits journal entries, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
Key Responsibilities:- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Celergo system
- Handle processing of payroll and benefits journal entries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Prepare payroll reports for management review
- Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information
- Assist with year-end payroll related activities such as T4A form preparation
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Payroll and benefits journal entries
- Proficient using ADP Celergo System or similar payroll systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects or assignments at one time and ability to multi-task
- Thorough research and problem-solving skills
- Expert at meeting deadlines while maintaining compliance and regulatory standards
- Hybrid role: 3 days from office, 2 days from home
- Working hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
- Hourly pay rate ranges from $25.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour depending on experience
- Temp to permanent position
