Job DescriptionThis is a permanent position requiring 40 to 44 hours of work per week. As a key member of our management team, the Restaurant Assistant Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating daily operations and making adjustments as needed
- Scheduling staff and managing labor costs
- Determining menu offerings and implementing operational procedures
- Conducting performance reviews and providing coaching to staff
- Managing inventory and supplies
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiating with suppliers and clients
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and excellent communication skills. They will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure. A College/CEGEP education and 2 years of experience in a similar role are required.
