About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Services Coordinator to join our team at Taber Taxi.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position with competitive salary and benefits. As an Administrative Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, establishing work priorities, and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Evaluate Administrative Procedures: Assess and improve existing administrative processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Delegate Work to Office Support Staff: Effectively assign tasks and responsibilities to support staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Establish Work Priorities: Identify and prioritize tasks, focusing on high-priority projects and deadlines.
  • Maintain Administrative Procedures: Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Coordinate Office Services: Plan and manage office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in Budget Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of operating budgets, maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
Requirements
  • Candidates must have: A college or CEGEP diploma, and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Skills Include: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, excellent written communication, interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, reliability, time management, and work under pressure.
  • Education and Experience: Must have a strong understanding of administrative procedures and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 annually, based on location and industry standards.

  • Work Environment: This role involves working in an office setting, which may require prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Physical Abilities: The ability to perform light physical activities, such as walking or standing, is required.
