Job Summary:

As a key member of the Whistler Blackcomb team, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating office functions to facilitate the planning and execution of events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Develop and maintain event schedules, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Manage event registrations, ticketing, and participant communication
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, volunteers, and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with event marketing, promotion, and publicity efforts
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to events
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with event planning software and technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, event management, or a related field an asset
