About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled administrative support professional to join our team at S M S Logistics Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our operations team, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities and contributing to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling Appointments: The ideal candidate will schedule appointments and confirm them with relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely and efficient use of everyone's time.
  • Communication and Customer Service: They will handle phone calls, messages, and electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Inventory Management and Filing Systems: The successful candidate will maintain office supplies and inventory levels, set up and manage filing systems, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Daily Operations Planning and Direction: They will plan and direct daily operations, working closely with a team of 5-10 people to achieve business objectives and goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience: We require at least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced logistics or administrative environment.
  • Technical Skills: The ideal candidate should have proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office applications, as well as strong English language skills.
  • Work Hours: This full-time position requires a minimum of 40 hours of work per week.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, ranging from $45,000 to $60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and performance. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
