Your Opportunity

Our Assurance team is seeking a Bilingual Senior Accountant to join our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Effectively and efficiently handling audit tasks independently or within a team environment
  • Preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in a variety of industries
  • Performing audits on a variety of organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to requests and suggestions
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team
  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English (written and oral)

Your Experience and Education

  • You have completed your CPA designation or are in the process of completion
  • You have 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
  • You enjoy working within the private enterprise, non-profit, and public sector industries and are keen to develop further knowledge in these areas
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in both French and English
