About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team at Go Recruitment. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing data engineering and applications development projects, refining tools and processes, and ensuring project success by delivering every project on time, within budget, and scope.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Management

Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with UI/UX designers to create wireframes to guide development, understand product requirements, and translate them into actionable plans.

Resource Allocation and Risk Management

Plan and coordinate project schedules, goals, and milestones, and work with leads to assign appropriate resources. Identify project risks and plans to mitigate them.

Project Monitoring and Reporting

Maintain detailed status, activities, and issue reports on projects to present to senior management and major project stakeholders. Write periodic reports for project follow-ups and lessons learned from completed projects.

Financial Management

Adhere to budgets and keep projects on track for successful completion within specification.

Problem-Solving and Collaboration

Identify creative solutions to project roadblocks and resolve issues and constraints with appropriate input. Encourage collaboration and proactively seek opportunities to improve collaboration between teams.

Stakeholder Management

Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure risks and impact of any scope changes are understood and approved. Negotiate prioritization between product managers and technical leadership.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Work with business stakeholders to manage and organize user acceptance testing.

Requirements
  1. Experience

3+ years of experience in a project management role.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative. Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects at one time. Proficient in conflict resolution and comfortable working with technical and business teams. Strong presentation skills, both oral and written.

Technical Background

Excellent knowledge of project management and issue management tools. Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and network technologies.

Certifications

PMP certification is a plus.
