Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. About the Role

This is a permanent position offering 32 to 35 hours of work per week. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of up to 10 staff members and contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and safe working practices.
  • Train new staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Evaluate the quality of food and services, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports on daily operations, including food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation and presentation, as well as strong problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $45,000 and $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes opportunities for professional development, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive employee assistance program.
