About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza House. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff members are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team in place to deliver exceptional service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding work.
  • Transportation: Own transportation.
