About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Pizza House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of ethnic dishes, including South Indian, East Indian, and West Indian cuisine.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing waste.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
