Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our menu standards and quality control procedures.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and manage kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Inventory and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, urban area, fast food outlet or concession.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
