IT Expert: Microsoft Identity Solutions Consultant

At T-Net British Columbia, we're seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Senior Microsoft Identity Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex Microsoft identity solutions based on Azure Active Directory and Windows Server Active Directory.

This position requires a unique blend of technical skills, business acumen, and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. Key responsibilities include facilitating requirements gathering sessions, delivering webinars with demos, and writing technical documentation such as design documents, as-built guides, and statements of work.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
  1. Identity and Access Management: Designing and architecting enterprise identity and access management solutions involving multiple systems is crucial for this role.
  2. Azure Active Directory: Experience with designing and deploying directories, Enterprise Applications, Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, Password Hash Sync, and Pass-Through Authentication is essential.
  3. Azure Active Directory Connect: Deploying single or multiple servers in staging mode, creating custom sync rules, synchronizing custom attributes, performing soft-match and hard-match synchronization are key skills required.
  4. Windows Server Active Directory: Designing and deploying new forests, promoting/demoting domain controllers, performing cross-forest domain migrations, security hardening, and tiered models are necessary expertise.
  5. PowerShell: Writing scripts from scratch using Azure Active Directory and Windows Server Active Directory PowerShell modules is a must-have skill.
Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience
  1. Active Directory Certificate Services: Deploying new certification authorities is an added advantage.
  2. Active Directory Federation Services: Deploying new farms and configuring relying party trusts are beneficial skills.
  3. Microsoft Certifications: Holding Microsoft Certified certifications is a desirable qualification.
