Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Shardon Manor. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients in a rehabilitation centre and special health institution setting. Key responsibilities include taking patients' vital signs, serving meal trays, making beds, and supervising exercise routines.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to lift and move patients with ease and possess the ability to distinguish between colours.
Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, as well as 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
Other Benefits: On-site housing options are available, and the position offers a permanent contract with 40 hours of work per week.
