Human Relations and Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Relations Officer to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing clinical, professional, and case management services to our clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in social sciences, with a degree in criminology, social work, sexology, or psychology. They will also have relevant experience working in social services, particularly with youth protection.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to community workers in their daily tasks and challenges;
- Oversee the workload, schedule, and timesheets of community workers;
- Ensure that all reports are accurate and up-to-date;
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in social sciences (criminology, social work, sexology, or psychology);
- Relevant experience working in social services, particularly with youth protection;
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
