About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Aliaxis. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, quotes, product information, and stock checks/price.
- Resolve delays, service problems, and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Enter, release, and track customer orders via our in-house ERP solution.
- Verify customer account numbers, pricing, terms, delivery requirements, and other relevant information.
- Track backorders and ensure production, purchasing, and distribution are aligned accordingly.
- Prepare quotations and provide technical support by referring to various company publications.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure proper service from all directions.
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a customer service representative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Good time management and follow-up skills, including the ability to effectively balance quality and quantity of output.
- Excellent computer and internet skills, especially Microsoft Office and email.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve customer issues and complaints patiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good team player with the ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment.
